Copyright ownership, author rights and licensing of published articles
The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research Field (IJMRF) respects the intellectual property rights of authors, researchers, institutions and other copyright holders.
This Copyright and Licensing Policy explains the general principles governing copyright, author rights, permissions and reuse of articles published through IJMRF.
The specific copyright and licensing terms applicable to an individual article will be determined by the publication agreement and license statement associated with that article.
Copyright ownership of a submitted or published manuscript depends on the agreement and licensing arrangement applicable to the article.
Authors should review the applicable copyright statement before publication and should ensure that they have the necessary rights to submit all material included in their manuscript.
IJMRF does not claim ownership of third-party material merely because such material is referenced or included in a manuscript.
Authors may retain certain rights in their work depending on the publication agreement and license selected for the article.
Where the applicable terms permit, authors may be able to share, archive, reproduce, distribute or otherwise reuse their work subject to the relevant copyright and licensing conditions.
Authors should not assume that all rights are retained or transferred without checking the terms applicable to their particular publication.
An article may be published under a specific open-access or other license where such licensing has been adopted by IJMRF and is stated on the article's publication page.
The license displayed with an article determines the permissions and conditions applicable to reuse of that article.
Where IJMRF publishes an article under a Creative Commons license, the applicable Creative Commons license will be identified clearly with the published article.
Creative Commons licenses provide standardized permissions for the reuse of copyrighted material while requiring users to comply with the conditions of the selected license.
The presence of a Creative Commons license does not mean that every element appearing within an article is automatically covered by that license. Third-party material may be subject to separate copyright or permission requirements.
If an IJMRF article is specifically published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, users may generally share and adapt the licensed material, including for commercial purposes, provided the applicable license conditions are followed.
Appropriate attribution should be provided when material covered by CC BY 4.0 is reused. Attribution should identify the creator, provide an appropriate reference to the work and indicate if changes were made, together with a reference to the applicable license where appropriate.
Users should consult the official license terms before relying on a particular reuse permission.
The applicable license for each article should be determined from the license statement displayed with that article rather than assumed from the general journal website.
When permitted material is reused, users should provide appropriate credit to the original author and source.

Attribution should not be presented in a way that falsely suggests endorsement by the original author or journal.
Articles may contain photographs, figures, tables, datasets, illustrations, quotations or other material belonging to third parties.
Unless the article clearly states otherwise, users should not assume that third-party material is covered by the same license as the article itself.
Separate permission may be required from the relevant copyright holder before reusing third-party content.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, permissions or lawful basis to submit material included in their manuscript.

Where permission is required, authors should obtain it before publication and retain appropriate documentation.
Authors should disclose relevant previously published material and should not reproduce substantial copyrighted content without the necessary permission or applicable legal basis.
If material has previously appeared elsewhere, authors should provide accurate citation and disclose the relevant publication history where appropriate.
Whether authors may deposit or share a manuscript version in an institutional repository, personal website, academic profile or other platform depends on the copyright and licensing terms applicable to that article.
Authors should check the specific publication agreement and article license before distributing a version of the work.
Translation, modification, adaptation or creation of derivative material is permitted only where allowed by the copyright holder or applicable license.
Where an article is licensed under a Creative Commons license that permits adaptation, users must still comply with the applicable attribution and other license conditions.
Adapted material should not be presented as the unchanged original publication.
Commercial reuse depends on the license attached to the individual article.
If an article is published under a license that permits commercial use, users may undertake permitted commercial reuse subject to the license conditions. If commercial use is not permitted, separate authorization may be necessary.
Copyright licensing does not necessarily remove other rights that may exist under applicable law, including moral rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, trademark rights or rights relating to third-party material.
Users are responsible for determining whether additional permissions are required for their intended use.
If a copyright holder believes that material published on the IJMRF website infringes their rights, they may contact the journal through its official communication channel and provide sufficient information to identify the material and explain the concern.
The journal may review the information provided and take appropriate action based on the circumstances, available evidence and applicable requirements.
Copyright and licensing information associated with a published article may need to be reviewed if the article is corrected, substantially amended or retracted.
A correction or retraction does not automatically eliminate the historical scholarly record. Any subsequent use of the material should take account of the current publication status and applicable notices.
Website elements such as the IJMRF logo, website design, original text, graphics, navigation elements and other journal-owned content may be protected by copyright or other applicable rights.
Permission to reuse a published research article does not automatically grant permission to reproduce the journal's branding, logo or website design.
Viewing, downloading or accessing an article from the IJMRF website does not by itself transfer copyright ownership to the reader.
Any permitted reuse remains subject to the copyright statement and license applicable to the relevant material.
Payment of a publication or processing charge, where applicable, does not by itself determine copyright ownership or grant unrestricted rights to reproduce an article.
Copyright and reuse rights are governed by the applicable publication agreement and licensing terms.
IJMRF may update this Copyright and Licensing Policy when its publication model, licensing arrangements or applicable requirements change.
The version published on this page represents the current general policy. The licensing statement attached to an individual article will take precedence for determining the reuse permissions applicable to that article.
